Dr. John Maxwell speaks at the 2017 Leadership Forum at Ohio Christian University

OCU's 11th Annual Leadership Forum a Huge Success

Ohio Christian University hosted its 11th annual Leadership Forum on April 11, 2017, in the Maxwell Center on its Circleville campus. Featured speakers included leadership expert, Dr. John Maxwell; former Milwaukee Bucks star athlete, Michael Redd; and Fortune 500 CEO coach, Dr. Dale Bronner. More than 1,000 people gathered for the main event, and hundreds more participated in executive and ministerial sessions throughout the day.

John Maxwell spoke about the importance of having an abundance mindset. When one has an abundance mind set they invest in themselves and others around them to reach new heights.

"The Leadership Forum is a great opportunity to practice an abundance mindset by investing in your growth. Growth is the only way to assure that tomorrow is better than today," Maxwell said.

The annual leadership forum is an increasingly popular event that facilitates the professional development of those currently in executive leadership roles or who aspire to be effective leaders. Proceeds from the event support the Ohio Christian University Scholarship Program.

“The forum focuses on enhancing one’s leadership abilities,” said Craig Brown, Vice President for Advancement at OCU.

Brown believes the profiles of this year’s speakers demonstrates leadership experience that is harmonious with the ideas and mission of OCU.
