Chamber Ensemble Celebrates Circleville Bicentennials

Ohio Christian University Chamber String Ensemble will perform a landmark concert at St.Philip’s Episcopalian Church in Circleville on Sunday, July 30 at 2:00 PM.
This concert is part of a grand celebration of the 200th anniversary of the founding of St. Philipsas well as of the Circleville Herald.
At the end of the concert, a mass choir comprised of singers from St. Philips and neighboring churches will join the ensemble for a grand rendition of The Lord is my Shepherd by Howard Goodall, and Offertory by John Ness Beck.
Compilations of works by “Lillie” Darst will be available for a donation after the concert. Ms. Darst (1846-1883) was a member of St. Philip's, a renowned poet, journalist, and the first woman editor of the Herald.
After the concert, "period"/Victorian refreshments will be available for everyone.
